Chic, colorful, well made and well packed for transit. I put one on my nightstand and one on the dresser and they give an understated elegance to the bedroom.The picture shows the shades as white, but they're really a cream color with rattan or some grassy material on it. These are also a lot bigger than I was expecting, but they're solid and high quality.Beautiful classy lamps! No complaints but be careful not to accidentally cut the material covering the cord when cutting the plastic off the cord.I purchased a pair of these high quality lamps and could not have been more please . Every part of this lamp screams high end for a fabulous price. I will be purchasing an other pair for my vacation home.The lamps were a real find! They are very nicely made with a crystal base finial. Everything is in the package and they were ready to go - including light bulbs which I replaced.Perfect for bedside reading.They look exactly as the picture.They're beautiful!
