This is a nice, spacious nightstand for most kids. It's a bit smaller and shorter so for a 9 year, it's perfectly sized. The quality seems to be very good, but time will tell. It doesn't wobble and the draws go in and out smoothly with decent storage space. After the tedious build, it seems to be very solid.My biggest complaint about the installation is how many pieces this thing comes in. The installation wasn't hard and the instructions were very clear on how and what goes where. It is extremely cumbersome, but not hard. Even though the instructions claim it takes 30 minutes to setup, I'm sure it took me a little longer than that.Overall, I'm happy with the quality so far. The LED lights and power strip up top was a nice touch. Again, the install isn't hard, just time consuming. At the end, I think it's worth the price.It was a bit hard to put together. This might not make much sense but try to put the board that separates the top from the drawers on the top while it’s upside down. It’s hard to do when the board has been secured to the drawer piece. It does look really nice though.The end table is plenty sturdy. It isn’t too difficult to assemble. The only flaws I’ve noticed are the lights. They come on randomly and they aren’t as bright as the pictures show. We Like the LED lights with remote for color changing. We put it in the guest room. There is a platform bed so is lowered and makes it look better.Easy to assemble. It’s sturdy- 2 drawers are spacious. Just wish it was a little taller.No problem to assemble (just need more time), sturdiness, modern look and value for money but it little bit too low for my bed.well, this thing is extremely sturdy when put together. it weighs about as much as the number of bricks that would fit into the box it came in so I’m thankful that it’s sturdy when assembled because something that heavy would be a nightmare if it was flimsy. it’s a very nice quality product once assembled. The LED lights are as bright as any LED lights, they look pretty cool. The surface claims to be water resistant which is great because sometimes cold drinks sweat and cause little puddles. it feels quite nice to the touch.the plug and USB outlet is really great (that’s primarily what i bought it for. however I think it would be better to have it so that it’s installed on the side of the nightstand rather than the top just because I feel like it would be something that would be instantly ruined if a drink was spilled. I am a little clumsy at times so I’m going to have to be very careful not to spill water or anything else on the surface of this nightstand. considering a lot of people put drinks on a nightstand I think the manufacturer should rethink the location of the plug.I read some other reviews that complained about the USB plug for the LED lights using up one of the USB ports however if you have a plug on your wall behind the nightstand or fairly close just use that and both USB ports will be free to be used for charging devices. that one seems like a no-brainer to me.my only two issues is this thing was a lot more than a half an hour to assemble, it was three hours to be exact and I consider myself quite versed in putting furniture together from many years of assembling, assembling wrong, disassembling and reassembling IKEA furniture. and it still took me 3 1/2 hours.they give you a screwdriver which is nice but I ended up using my own because the Phillips end was too fat and blunt for the little lock screws and there is a lot of them. I would not have been able to do it without my own screwdriver. speaking of the lock screws, they are an extremely tight fit and I’m glad they give you extra because I stripped two of them.The other issue I have with this otherwise beautiful product is it is very short for an adult bedroom set. I considered the nightstand I replaced with this product to have been a very small nightstand and this thing is smaller than that. I am pretty handy and I am going to use pieces from the old nightstand which happens to be the same colour to add a 6 inch platform to the bottom and then it will be perfect.so if you are expecting a full-size proper nightstand for an adult bedroom set this might not be the one for you.otherwise it is a fantastic product I would say the sturdiness and the quality of hardware is its best features.I hope you find my review helpful.It looks very nice. The process of putting it together was so easy and detailed that it should be replicated by all furniture manufacturers. I love the lighting. The only thing was plugging the LED lights into the outlet right on top of the stand. I purchased a female/male USB extension and plugged the LED light into the wall outlet leaving the top USBs free and cleaner looking.I actually got these nightstands to hold my laptops, under my desk. They fit perfectly, and also accommodate my laptops (I made measurements before buying). While I can say that they are a bit difficult to put together, as they have lots of pieces and screws, the end result is sturdy and looks quite good. As other people mentioned, when you have two nightstands, each remote will operates both. However, if you tinker enough with them and manage to operate them simultaneously, they do operate individually and can have different lights on each. The fact that one USB is used by the led lights doesn't bother me at all, it was kind of expected.Like a couple people I thought there was a plastic glass where the LED's are which is not the case.. Please stop photoshopping your pictures when you wanna sell something it's kinda sad to not receive exactly what you thought you were gonna receive, but it's still cool, not gonna return it, but not gonna recommend it. Also I feel like for this price it should arrive built already since it's really small and it takes 2 hours to build.I bought one as a gift for my Wife, and we both ended up loving it so much we decided to buy a second. Highly recommend. Very easy and fun to build, especially with your SO! Makes our room so much more lively.
