I liked it so much I bought another one. It is a beautiful true red.wife has worn prescription glasses since middle school. Every morning there is a scramble to find where we have left the glasses from the night before. Put them in here before you turn out the light. In the morning, EASY!Have one beside where I sit to watch t.v. and use the computer, take my readers off and set them in and when I go to look for them, boomSame with the computer at my desk, readers always at hand.I find the overlap in the fur insides a feature not a bug, It holds the arms tight enough so even if the thing tips over, the glasses stay put.I put a decal of The Death Museum on the out side of a red one and covered the other with food stickers I have removed from various food stuffs.Perfect? Who knows. It holds my glasses while they stay clean for cheaper than two coffee's at Starbucks. U.S. made small buisness!Buy a couple for cryin' out loudOver a year ago I bought my second eyeglasses holder. The first one had a plain cloth lining and the second had the fuzzy plus lining. I forget if I rated these or not. I will tell you now that the fuzzy one is not the one to buy. I know that nearly all of you have seen a demonstration in school of the teacher rubbing a glass rod or a comb with a wool cloth and seen how it would pick up small bits of paper with the static electricity. Well, my eyeglasses were always dust covered. It took me a while, but it finally dawned on me what was happening. I switched to the one with the plain lining and my eyeglassses picked up much less dust. Eyeglasses are always going to pick up some dust, but they normally don't have the lens completely covered. I quit using the fuzzy lined holder and my glasses are nearly dust free. These are very handy. My husband and I have readers all over the house, but never in the room where we need them. I have found that by putting a pair of glasses in one of these in each room, it’s much easier to find them. (If you’re like us, you can’t find your glasses without your glasses on!) in the morning, when I’m straitening the house, I go around and make sure there’s still a pair in each holder. If you have expensive glasses, these are a must to protect them. The only thing I would improve would be to have a soft divider inside so it could hold two pairs. The double holders I’ve seen are overkill - two full containers. Anyway, very nice looking and useful.I bought this for my dad who lost two pairs of glasses in his assisted living space (may have been scooped up with bedclothes). He put it next to his hearing aid charger so he can put the glasses in when he puts his hearing aids in the charger at bedtime. He wears them with a lanyard during the day in case he removes them at other times. So far, so good.Good product for a good priceI bought the brown and black holder for my husband. He loved them instantly. One is in his workroom, and one is on his desk. They are well-made and great for protecting my husband's glasses. He liked them so much he asked me to get one for his desk at work. It doesn't tip over easily, and the lining is very soft. After having spent more on my current pair of prescription glasses than I've ever spent, I wanted them to be in a very safe place overnight. This eyeglass holder really fits the bill!I chose this one because I like the faux leather and fleece, rather than the more girlie tapestry one. In person, this thing looks much more expensive than it was, and it's well-constructed.My small glasses fit in this with a little bit of room to spare. However, be aware that if you have large glasses, they might not fit. My husband wears oversized aviator glasses, so I ordered the jumbo one for him, and they fit in it.For great eyeglass protection, with a little bit of class, buy this. You'll be happy you did.Not like photos on Amazon; like another one-star reviewer's photo instead - with the wooly lining only roughly stuck on, and overlapping where it joins, or rather does not join! I ordered 3, one came in an already-opened box, guess from a previously disappointed customer returning it?! What a shame, they look so good on Amazon. (I have returned, and purchased a remote-control holder instead; this is lined with soft material and very suitable for specs.)Really nice, one for me one for husband by the bedside. fed up with treading on glasses in the mornings.ordered another one for the office. might get some for stocking fillers.....Possibly around the £8 mark would be a fairer price...and the seam in the "fur" lining could be better finished. however, from manufacturers point of view, if theyare selling at the price, why not?SandraThis is money very well spent. I have a separate pair of glasses for computer work and so have to change my glasses every time I sit at the computer. I used to lay the pair of glasses I wasn't using face down on the desk. Result -the lenses got scratched. Now, I'm much more disciplined. The pair that I'm not wearing sits safely in the holder and I can always find them. Just sorry I didn't by this years ago.As my last set of glasses were ruined with so many scratches on them where I would put them down on the bedside table or on the side whilst I showered I had to buy new glasses, I purchased 2 of these stands one for the bedroom and one for the bathroom best things I’ve purchased in years glasses are now scratch freeBought this to put on my coffee table for glasses which saves having to take them from case all the time or leaving them about where they could get damaged. Good selection of colours too. Very safe.
